Being the best service provider for the customer in one’s own country -  this philosophy helped to make Gebrüder Weiss Austria’s largest family-owned transport and logistics service provider with over 2,700 employees and 50 locations in the Alpine republic alone.

The company with headquarters in Lauterach, in the Austrian federal province of Vorarlberg, can already look back on a history of more than half a millennium. Despite this long standing tradition, however, the company is thoroughly modern thanks to its cosmopolitan culture, openness for new ideas and to the human spirit of the family business, which has remained unaltered in spite of all the changes and gives the orange organisation its unique identity. This also includes a special awareness of the social responsibility and, consequently, Gebrüder Weiss are not only amongst those companies training most apprentices in Austria but in the course of an own trainee programme they also prepare able young people for handling executive functions in the future.
