Fuel surcharge
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that Gebrüder Weiss prices are calculated on the basis of CZK 25 per litre of diesel. Given the ever increasing price of oil, and consequently of diesel, our company had to stop absorbing the entire increase into its own costs, and has introduced a flexible fuel surcharge on road transport services.
This flexible surcharge comes into force on 1 August 2005. It applies to both domestic and international road transport, and is based on average diesel prices. The calculation of this surcharge is based on the average price of diesel, always for the 3rd calendar week of the respective month, released on the websites of the Czech Statistical Office - ČSÚ (the monitored period).
Gebrüder Weiss applies the fuel surcharge effective from the first day of the month following the monitored period. Gebrüder Weiss will apply the fuel surcharge for the whole of the following calendar month, at the end of which a new surcharge will be analogically determined according to the latest price of diesel.

Taxes according the law have to be added to the prices.
In the 3. week in January 2012 the average price of the diesel was 36,22 CZK.
